We regularly update our program to provide enhancements, updates to state tax reporting requirements, and to correct problems with our software.  Below is a summary of recent changes to our product.  Registered users can download the most recent updates to our software from our Downloads page. GMA v8.0 – January 19, 2012 Revised tax Return, Schedule A, Schedule B2, Barcode Label Sheet, Schedule C, Worksheet E, Schedule ER, Schedule F, Form G7430, Lawful Purpose Rating Worksheet, and Cash Shortage Worksheet to align with new State rules and forms layout. All previous forms are still accessible from prior reporting periods in their then current format. NOTE: Organizations with only one site are now required to complete the Schedule A form. The program now supports the use of the Schedule A for every site – regardless the number of sites within an organization. Created new Schedule NRL to calculate and capture Net Receipts Loss values. Added invoice payment date to the invoice screen support new Tax Return and Schedule A requirements. NOTE: The payment date must now be recorded on the invoice in order to support Tax Return and Schedule A reports. Organizations should reconcile their invoice payments to confirm that invoices paid are being properly recorded and reported in the Schedule A and Tax Return.   (The data export function includes new options to extract detail supporting Tax Return and Schedule A calculation for game products paid and distributor tax paid.  These can be used to help reconcile the information included on your tax return.) Updated invoice search form to include invoice searches by invoice payment date or unpaid invoices. Updated game transaction screen to correspond with new game disposition codes. Updated Quicken interface setting for sites to align with new Schedule A allowable expense categories. Added hyperlink buttons to Tax Return to quickly jump to other supporting forms where appropriate. Added new export data options to export games paid and invoice paid details to support any additional reconciliation requirements. Retired Advertising Expense and Expense Calculations reports per State changes. These reports will continue to be available for reporting months prior to January 2012.
